Welcome to Penelope's Musings

My name is Lynette and I have loved to write ever since I wrote a short story about a mermaid when I was about 8.   I am the long-time promoter of Brookhaven Vintage Marketplace, an antiques, Artisan Goods & Home Decor show in Beaverton, Oregon.  I like writing about this enterprise, as well as my long love affair with collecting vintage treasures and creating art with fabric and paper ephemera.  I also write about my adventures traveling and my collection of interesting quotes that resound with me.  If you visit my very first post, you will meet Penelope, my inspiration.

I am in the middle of writing my first novel and also am putting together a collection of little short stories. It gives me great joy to write.
